Overview
Remote Cafe is a Pomodoro timer app that takes you to cafe scenes from around the world while you focus. We built it with privacy in mind — the app works entirely offline, and we do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
What data the app stores
Remote Cafe stores a small amount of data locally on your device only, solely to power the app's features:
- Focus session records — when you started a session and how long it lasted
- App preferences you set (e.g. timer duration, selected cafe scene)
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server, not shared with third parties, and not accessible to us.
What we do not collect
- No account registration or login — no name, email, or password
- No location data
- No device identifiers or advertising IDs
- No analytics or usage telemetry
- No crash reports sent off-device
Third-party services
Remote Cafe does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or ad networks. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payment flows that handle your financial information.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no personal data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we ever update this policy, the new version will be posted here and the "last updated" date at the top will change. We do not anticipate changes that would introduce data collection.
